The First Symposium on Patent Information Processing by the AAMT/Japio Patent Translation Study Group

Patent information is one of the major application areas of information processing. Recently, it has increasingly drawn worldwide attention. This symposium aims to foster research and development of the technology for patent information processing by providing a forum in which researchers, practitioners and government people can exchange their ideas, approaches, perspectives, experiences and policies from their work in progress. The symposium will consist of a keynote speech, three invited talks and presentation of 10 submitted papers.
